Full Explosion-Proof Protection Across All Components — The hoist motor, travel motors, brakes, electrical enclosures, limit switches, push-button pendant, and control panel are all individually certified as explosion-proof. This is a fundamental safety prerequisite for hazardous area operations.

Flameproof Enclosure Design (Ex d) — Motors and critical electrical components are enclosed in flameproof housings that can withstand an internal explosion without transmitting flame to the surrounding atmosphere.

Spark-Free Operation — Brakes use non-sparking materials and special friction pairs. Hooks, wheels, and trolleys are made of copper alloy or stainless steel to eliminate the risk of mechanical sparks during contact. Copper-plated or copper-alloy contact surfaces are standard at critical points.

Temperature Monitoring & Protection — Continuous temperature monitoring of critical motor components ensures automatic shutdown before surface temperatures exceed the ignition temperature of the surrounding gas or dust.

Standardised Safety Protection — An overload limiter and emergency stop button form the primary protection layer. Upper and lower limit switches ensure safe hoist travel, and a phase failure protection device verifies correct power sequence before motor operation.

Optional Advanced Safety Features — An emergency shutdown system enables power isolation in critical situations. Anti-collision sensors for areas where multiple cranes operate together are available as an option. Lightning and surge protection can be added for outdoor or exposed installations.
