Capstan winch

The Marine Capstan Winch is a vertical drum deck machinery solution designed for anchoring, mooring, towing, and line handling aboard ships, offshore platforms, and port facilities. Unlike drum winches that store rope on the drum, the capstan uses a friction-based principle where the rope is wrapped around the rotating vertical drum head but not accumulated, enabling continuous operation with unlimited rope length.
