The Marine Anchor Winch is a deck machinery solution purpose-built for raising, lowering, and securely holding ship anchors. Powered by electric, hydraulic, or diesel drive systems, the winch is engineered for continuous operation in the demanding marine environment. The winch is available in horizontal (widely used on commercial vessels) or vertical (commonly used on naval ships to save deck space) configurations. FEATURES

Heaving — Retrieves the anchor and chain from the seabed or riverbed, enabling the vessel to resume navigation. The windlass must heave at a specified speed of at least 9 m/min, up to 15 m/min.

Letting Go / Dropping Anchor — Releases the anchor chain, allowing the anchor to sink under its own weight to secure the vessel. Average chain speeds vary between 5–7 m/sec during this operation.

Chain Handling & Control — Precisely controls the paying out and hauling in of the anchor chain via the cable lifter, ensuring smooth and reliable anchoring operations.

Mooring / Warping — Drums or warp ends fitted on the ends of the shafts permit handling of mooring lines, assisting in berthing, unberthing, or warping the vessel alongside a quay.
